YU-GI-Oh Online Booster Packs
YU-GI-Oh Online Booster Packs split into 2 period, First period is YU-GI-OH Online 1 Booster Packs. 2nd is YU-GI-Oh Online 2 (Duelevolution) Booster Packs(There are some different this is why I need to split it into 2 Period).
During YU-GI-OH Online 1 Period You can’t get Ban/Forbidden cards from Booster Pack(Konami remove all of them) and Some Cards from the booster becoming Event cards such as Dark Necrofear, Strike Ninja, Dark Ruler Hades etc…, some Booster Packs follow OCG Booster Packs but some don’t. Here a completly info about YU-GI-Oh Online Booster Packs.
Note : You can see Event cards from YU-GI-OH Online 1 here, Gunslinger 1-35, Duelist Trial 1-21, YOC Cards, Korea CS 2005, First Anniversary Trial 50
YU-GI-Oh Online 1 Booster Packs : YU-GI-Oh Online 1 Booster Pack include Booster Pack 1-30 and Beginners Pack 1-3.
Booster Pack 1-14 are Exclusive Booster Packs only for YU-GI-OH Online, Starting from Booster Pack 15 Konami decided to follow OCG Booster Pack (Magic Ruler – Present, Beginner’s Pack also base on Beginner’s Edition 1-2) but They didn’t follow All of OCG Booster Packs There is a little different between OCG Booster Pack and YU-GI-Oh Online Booster Pack. A Different is YU-GI-Oh Online Booster Pack Adding some Cards into it and also remove some of OCG card but mostly They follow OCG Booster Pack.
Addition cards are promo cards/structure deck cards As for Remove cards some of them become Event Cards/Duel Pass Cards. Here a List of change between YU-GI-Oh Online Booster Pack and OCG Booster Pack

but They Added Archfiend of Gilfer (Weekly Jump Promo), Total Defense Shogun (V-Jump 1/2001 Promo), Harpie’s Feather Duster (Premium Pack 5) and Crush Card Virus (Duel Monsters 2 Promo) into it.

2. Online Booster Pack 16 follow OCG Pharoah’s Servant (PS)
1 Addition Card is Kunai With Chain (Duel Monster 2 Promo)
3. Online Booster Pack 17 follow OCG Curse of Anubis (COA)
1 Addition Card is Graceful Dice (Duel Monster 5 Promo)
1 card has been removed, It is Prohibition
Note : Konami added this card into the next booster pack but it originate in this pack maybe this is Konami fault They forgot to include it in this Pack.
Remove card = Some card that are in OCG Booster Pack but It’s not in YU-GI-OH Online Booster Pack.
4. Online Booster Pack 18 follow Thousand Eyes Bible (TB)
2 Addition Cards are Prohibition and Exchange (Duel Monster 5 Promo) and Exchange also a YOC Summer 2005 card for Qualifiers
2 cards has been removed cards It’s The Legenday Fisherman (become Gunslinger Round 13 and 18 [7 winning streak card] and Also appear again in 2nd Anniversary Trial 50 Event [15 win card]) and Thousand Eyes Restrict (Become GS round 11/16 [7 winning streak cards] and also appear again in 2nd Anniversary Trial 50 Event [11 win card])
5. Online Booster Pack 19 follow OCG Spell of Mask (SM)
3 Addition Cards are Swift Gaia The Fierce Knight, Obnoxious Celtic Guard (Structure Deck Yugi) and Rocket Warrior (Valuable Book 3 Promo)
2 cards has been removed They are Blue-Eyes White Dragon Alt Art (release in Championship Winter 2007 as a Finalist card) and The Masked Beast (Become GS round 15-20 [7 winning streak card], It also release in 2nd Anniversary Trial 50 Event [21 win card])
6. Online Booster Pack 20 follow OCG Labyrinth of Nightmare (LN)
No Addition Cards only 3 Removed cards, They are Dark Necrofear, Destiny Board (become GS round 12/17 [6-7 winning streakcards] and also appear again in 2nd Anniversary Trial 50 event [13-14 win card]) and Dark Magician
7. Online Booster Pack 21 follow OCG Struggle of Chaos (SC)
4 Addition Cards are Big Shield Gardner and Skull Dice (Duel Monster 5 Promo), Slate Warrior and Fairy King Truesdale (Playstation New Duel Monster 2 Promo)
Note : Big Shield Gardner and Skull Dice are YOC Summer 2005 cards and Slate Warrior is the old mileage card (30 Mileage Point)
4 Cards has been removed = Dark Ruler Hades, Dark Balter The Terrible, Throwstone Unit and Summoned Skull
Dark Ruler Hades, Dark Balter The Terrible, Throwstone Unit become Duelist Trial Cards (DT round 1 and 4 [5-7 win cards] and it also appear again in 2nd Anniversary Trial 50 Event [16-17 win card])

6 cards has been Removed They are Paladin of White Dragon (become DT round 9-10 [7 win card] also release again in 2nd Anniversary Trial 50 event [29 win card]), XYZ Dragon Cannon (Become YOC 2007 Winner Card), Kaiser Colloseum, Metalsilver Armor, Rivalry of Warlords, Barrel Dragon (GS round 5/10 [7 winning streak card], It also re-release again in Booster Pack 14 and in 1st and 2nd Anniversary Trial 50 Event)
Note : Barrel Dragon is the only 7 win GS card that release in Booster Pack, It was in Online Booster Pack 14 after the event was finished.
Kaiser Colosseum, Metalsilver Armor and Rivalry of Warlords aren’t release in game yet, Konami remove it and still not adding it.
12. Online Booster Pack 26 follow OCG (Champion of Black Magicians) [303]
6 Addition Cards are King’s Knight/Queen’s Knight/Jack’s Knight (Limited Edition 4 Yugi’s Pack), Beast of Talwar (Booster Pack Collectors Tin Promo), Unity and Yu-Jo Friendship (YU-GI-OH Character Guide Book)
4 Removed Cards are Luster Dragon, Amazoness Swords Woman (Become DT Round 11-12 [7 wins cards], Re-release again in 2nd anniversary trial 50 event [32 win card]), Amazoness Archers (Become GS Round 25-26 [7 wins card], It also re-release again in 2nd Anniversary Trial 50 Event [30 win card]), Dark Paladin (Become USB Duel Pass Promo)
Note : USB Duelpass Available only At USA, Konami make it exclusive for USA Customer because At That Time there are many fraud credit cards/Stolen Credit Cards from USA, So they stop Duel Pass 150 (Credit Card Duelpass) for USA Customer and decided to make USB Duelpass for them while they’re fixing a Secure Payment. Now Duelpass 150 are available but USB Duelpass are now out of stock.
Luster Dragon still not release again maybe konami will add it in the next Anniversary Trial 50
13. Online Booster Pack 27 follow OCG (Force of Guardians) [304]
6 Addition Cards are Ghelnia Ghoul (Duel Monster 8 Strategy Guide Book 1), Puppet Master (Duel Monster 7 Strategey Guide Book 2), Silent Doom (Limited Edition 5 Kaiba’s Pack), Satellite Cannon and Sage’s Stone (Duel Monster 8 Promo), Judgment of Pharaoh (YU-GI-OH Comic Book Vol.31)
4 cards has been removed They are Battle Footballer (become Duelist Trial Round 14-15 [6 win cards]), Mirage Knight (become GS round 27-28 [7 win card], It also releage again in 2nd Anniversary Trial 50 Event [37 win card]), Exodia Necross (Top Mileage card [30 Mileage Point] Discontinued card), Staunch Defender (become GS Round 31-32 [6 win card] and also release again in 3rd Anniversary Trial 50 Event [2 win card])
Note : Exodia Necross is Top Rare card on Japanese Card Rate because It discontinued now and never release again, You also can’t get it at the end of each season with your Tournament Point.
14. Online Booster Pack 28 follow OCG (Threat From Demon Realm) [305]

No Addition cards but 6 cards has been removed = GIGA GAGAGIGO and Getsu Fuhma (become DT round 19-20 [7 win cards], It also appear again in 2nd Anniversary Trial 50 Event [25,44 win cards]), Blazine Inpachi and Invader of Darkness (become DT Round 21 [6-7 win cards], Also appear again in 2nd Anniversary Trial 50 Event [28/27 win card]), Insect Princess (become Gunslinger Round 35 [7 winning streak card] and also appear again in 2nd Anniversary Trial 50 Event [45 win card]) and Exodia The Forbidden One (become GS 1st&6 Round, Also appear again in 1st Anniversary Trial [50 win card]/2nd Anniversary Trial [1 win card])
Note : Normally We have 2 week for Gunslinger and Duelist Trial but For Gunslinger Round 35 (Insect Princess GS) and Duelist Trial Round 21 (Invader of Darkness DT) We have only 1 week because, Konami decided to upgrade this game to YU-GI-OH Online 2 (also known as “YU-GI-OH Online Duelevolution”) This is the last GS/DT cards for YU-GI-Oh Online 1 and Online Booster Pack 30 is The Last Booster Pack from YU-GI-OH Online 1
During YU-GI-OH Online 1 When a New Pack was added the old one (Exclude Pack 1-2 and Beginner’s Pack 1-3) will become Discontinued Pack.There is only one chance to open it in “All Pack Event” that konami let all player have a chance to opening All Booster Pack in this game.
YU-GI-Oh Online 2 Booster Packs : Starting from Booster Pack 31- Present (Even this game upgrade to YU-GI-Oh Online 2 you can still opening the old booster packs)
YU-GI-OH Online 2 Introduce a New Type of Booster Pack that available only at The Shops, They are “The Basic Set“, “Expansion Packs” and “Theme Packs“
“The Basic Set” is a pack created for the novice duelists.
It contains 20 cards which will enhance the all round capabilities of their decks.
“Expantion Packs” contain 10 cards that compliment existing structure decks.
“Theme Packs” comprise of 40 cards that all have a common theme. When you open it You get 5 random cards from them!
Note : Cards you get from the “Basic Set” and Expansion Packs can not be traded but you can buy it as many as you want and When you open Normal Booster Packs at the shop you got 5 random cards but when you won a duel you can get only 1-3 cards depending on what type of dueling (Single Duel or Match Duel)[Exclude GS Winning Streak that you will get many cards from the booster pack for each winning streak you won].
There are some change/upgrade between YU-GI-Oh Online 1 and Online 2 Booster Packs.
1st is The Pack Completion Rate This feature was added into the game, You can see how many % you collect from each booster pack on The Shops/After Duel while you choosing which one to open.
2. You have a more chance to Open Old Discontinued Booster Pack by Opening it in the shops for 5 MP or by winning 5 duels or more on “Duelist Trial Event“
Note : After you won 5 duels or more at duelist trial event you can access All YU-GI-Oh Online Booster Pack include Discontinued Booster Packs.
3. Konami never made an Event Cards from The Booster Packs starting from Booster Pack 31 also no Additions cards. Online Booster Pack should have the exactly the same one that OCG does but There are some different.

If you are beginner (LV2 or below at Beginner’s Lobby) After duel only Pack 1-2 and Beginner’s Pack 1-3 are available for selection but when you are out of it (LV2+ or have 35 Total duel) you can open all booster pack (Exclude Discontinued Packs)
From my experience Addition cards are hard to get than normal pack cards and I still don’t know a reason why konami Discontinued The old Booster Pack, Maybe they want us to open a new one and give old player to have an advantage on Trading.
This game release Booster Pack and Promo follow OCG because It’s OCG Online Game (遊戯王O.C.G.のオンライン対戦（1対1）を実現したオンライン専用PCゲームです = This sentence is from Konamistyle), but cards image using TCG version (Nomatter language you chose you still see TCG Image, only Text/Description change when you change Game Language). Every Cards OCG release we will have it in this game.
