YGO3 Duel accelerator
Finally news of the next incarnation for Yu-Gi-Oh! online from v-jump scan (credit shinji116)
Here is a translation of the above (credit: Saias)
1. The Beta Test will happen on the 18/12/2009 and the official release will be sometime in 2010 (no date confirmed yet)
2. They will add alot of new features into the game, with 3D animation from our avatars and more special effects from cards.
3. Further details about Yu-Gi-Oh Online Duel Accelerator and when the game will be officially released will be posted at http://www.yugioh-online.net on the 18/12/2009.
4. Alot of the new features will be based on the Yu-Gi-Oh World Championships 2009 game on Nintendo DS.
5. Duels from the Beta Testing will be free but there is no indication on how long that free period and beta test will last. Also everyone can take part in the Beta testing.
6. All cards from YGO2 will be transfered to the YGO3 Database, which explains the 3 hour maintainance.
7. Also from what i can gather you can open 2-3 packs at a time but i don’t know if those packs are new packs (Pack 49 and beyond).
Thats all i can gather from the Scans. Please feel free to add onto what i have translated so far. 
From talk around the net this version seems to be more like a ported version of the PSP game, which would mean Konami would be abandoning continued development from the original “Power of Chaos”, and concentrate more on parallel programming.
So this version will be heavily influenced by Tag Force.
Looks like the animation in Tag Force will be implemented and there are some 3D monster animations as well as character animations, also talks about a card point system.
Notable from the field shot above is the addition of a chat window.
Not sure how they will maintain existing avatar clothing and items, however it appears you have the option to minimise them anyway !
Also speculation that the current event system would be overhauled. Competition and individuals are more often ….

Yamiscott i tried that 5 times now it doesnt work.
It has been reported that those getting the Error 1303 might need the The Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package.

1303 Error
Downloading and installing this has resolved the Error 1303 during the installation for some. Thx to (apocalypsmage).
Im on duel city rite guys tryinstalling this or direct x9 over 11 and see what works ok post your results
and what about this error “Failed to connect to server” in the login?.

u could be having connection problems but i will look into as well for u k but every one has made it past the install part rite
To fix deck problem , run full screen mode and alt/tab before it gets chance to load , give it a sec then load it back up
anyone know whats up with failure to connect to server screen cant get past it
I created another account and It works well.
My old account was working a few hours ago but suddenly the error appear.

Ok I assume you guys are Windows 7 or Vista users here is a fix.
I’m using Win 7 so if you are using Vista you’ll have to figure out what buttons you have to press next on your own(shouldn’t be hard).
Go to C > Windows,Find winsxs folder :
1)Right Click on winsxs folder > Properties.
2)Go To “Security” Tab
3)Click Advanced
4)Go to the “Owner” Tab
5)Click on “Edit”
6)Click “Other users or groups”
7)In the new popped up window click “Advanced”
8)In the new window click “Find Now”
9)It will find a bunch of stuff,pick your User Account.
10)Press Ok > Press Ok again > Tick “Replace owner on subcontainers and objects” (Click yes to confirm,it’ll take like 2-3 minutes for it to finish changing owner).
11)Press Apply > Ok until the very end.
12)Right click on winsxs folder again > Properties.
13)Go to “Security” Tab
14)Click “Edit” (Note : You do not go to the owner tab)
15)Tick “Full Control”
16)Apply > Ok
17)Press Retry on the YO3 installation > the YO3 setup will finish it’s installation.

The Duel City guy’s method does work for getting past the Edit Deck bug, what he meant was click Edit Deck, then instantly click and drag the window (holding it down for about 4-6 seconds – it should be mostly black with the finger and bottom bar only), then when you let go it will go to the Deck Edit screen ok.
Also yeah NPC dueling is borked.
I can’t duel againt other people either.

You can duel against other people, I explained that already. Go to the map screen and click the duel disc >.< there’s probably no one who has figured this out tho. How are the npc duels bugged? After finally dueling joey the only bug I got so far is when he instantly won when he summoned REMD….
also 3d avatars are broken…

Hey guys i have problem fixing my deck..when fix my deck but it wont save…when exit even though i pressed save…help plzzzzzz
oh so you meant the duel won’t work for facing other human characters? cuz I got that issue
when i click duel disk there is no auto duel option. create duel or choose oppenent , created duel .. .that doesnt do anything waited 20 min , and if i click choose opponent its a blank list
click on the icon with a single sword to find people to duel
Mattwo: I can’t connect to anyone (haven’t tried it since about 3 hours ago though), it keeps saying connection interrupted or goes to a black screen and hangs.
Joey won because your timer ran out. take a look, it starts ok, in your turn the 10 mins counts down and stops for the NPC. then it mess’ up and the NPC time jams and your continually counts down to zero and you lose unless you win in that 10 minutes (kinda impossible cos the CPU takes ages). Therefore NPC matches are borked.
I know how to duel other people, either create a duel or select one from the list and send your request, but it dies shortly after or gives me that error.
It’s a Konami beta, nuff said really.
Also custom reaction text, avatars and 3D scenes appear to be non-existant. infact the only thing 3D it appears is the avatar page and the battle lines. The cards appear to be faux 3D.
you assume I’ve been in a konami beta? Besides NPC duels work fine for me, that was the only time I got a huge bug…
That was a general comment about the konami beta, not aimed specifically at you. in the past konami have done an outstanding job of releasing brain numbingly bad public betas. The worst being the Gurren Lagann game: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gurren_Lagann#Video_games
That destroyed Windows forever!
It seems the bugs are different for different machines (which is expected), I can’t edit my deck without dragging the window before the deck edit window loads and I can’t duel other people (and the general NPC time out bug too…)
Anyone else getting blocks for peoples name on the duel list and for values of cards on the field ?
the blocks are probably symbols.
Symbols ? is there a way to fix it then ? i cant understand anything when all text is just blocks/squares
well either you need the language pack or komani needs to fix it. I saw much Japanese in the game so try getting a language pack from Microsoft.
what happens to all the experience you got from online 2. Does it stay with you or are you going to have to start all over again???

If your still getting squares instead of text where players names, number of cards, atk and def numbers all should be, then you can download a fix from the elite gamers online site – {search google for ygo isgreat)
That is if you dont have the windows CD to fix it.

to dady if you use windows vista or windows 7 you need to right click on installation program that you download and click run as administrator.
You may need duelpass to open booster pack but duel will be free (We need to wait for main site to confirm it).
What do you mean "get the avatar to stay the way u want it on ygo 3 duel accelerater" You can't reveive any avatar part from the beta test. If you got some Avatar Parts from Yu-Gi-Oh Online 2 don't worry it will be there when full game release.
hi i have problem with login screen it say (failed to connect to server) i tray so many times and tray new account but it's still the same

Maybe because Konami Maintenence a server or maybe you have a problem with your connection (It can't connect to game server). Did you try it with different connection (go to net cafe or your friend house and try it and don't use 56k internet to play it).
