Yu-Gi-OH Online 2010
This is reveiw of the year for this game.
In this year Yu-Gi-Oh Online 3 Duel Accelerator was release on 2010/03/05. There are a lot of different things from YO2 but The Most Important thing is You will pay for cards not pay for dueling like YO1 and YO2.
Duel are Free now you can duel as many as you want but you can’t get cards after the duel If you want it you need to buy it at Blister’s Hideout and the price is 15 BP for 1 Booster Pack.
It have good and bad point if you compare it to YO1-YO2. You get more cards in YO1-YO2 because you can get card at the end of each duel+you can buy Booster Pack using Mileage Points but duel isn’t free.
MP System was discontinued in YO3 The only way for you to get cards without trading is by buying Booster Pack (you can still get some card from NPC+Some From Tournament Point Ranking at the end of each season).
Because of this system It’s a reason why Some Booster Pack cards are rarer than Event Cards. You’re not only pay for Booster Pack Cards but you also pay for Prize Cards you won in The event. You will get the chance to buy special pack that contain prize cards. Special Pack Prize is 10 BP for 1 Pack (5 BP for Special Pack in Anniversary Trial).
Overall Yu-Gi-OH Online 3 are much more expensive than YO2 but you can choose to not get cards and dueling. It’s benefit for player who want to duel as much as they want to.
Yu-Gi-Oh Online 3 also introduce a lot of new system for Player like “Rent Function” to let player borrow cards from player (Free)+from Konami (Not Free 30 BP for 3 Day for 10 Cards).
You can change Yu-Gi-Oh Online Banlist (Regulation) and play with Old Banlist Cards. OCG Banlist From March 2004 – September 2009, Beta Test Banlist, unlimit (No Ban List), Previous Season Banlist are available for selection.
Card Album also Availble for Cards Collector to see How many cards you have from each Booster Pack.
It also let Player to create and host their own Event It’s call “User Event“. Old MP (Mileage Points) cards + Some Rare Cards re-release again in form of User Event Special Pack (not Free).
There is some nice upgrade in YO3 like Trade Function. Now You can Trade Cards up to 20 Cards per turn (YO2 = 10 Cards Limit). You can customize Duel Speech/Dialogue when Dueling and you can save your avatar setting for loading + You can customize Card Protectors too.
In this year 11 Booster Pack was release. Starting From The Duelist Genesis – Stardust Overdrive.

Booster Pack release date isn’t something that you can predict It’s up to konami but They always told a release date on V-Jump + When there is a new Booster Pack Konami will announce on Official Site and ingame.

About Yu-Gi-OH Online Event – All of The old event from Yu-Gi-OH Online Duel Evolution (YO2) was release (Duelist Trial, Gunslinger, Evolution Match and YOC) but for Yu-Gi-Oh Online Championship there is no YOC on Spring 2010. First YOC in YO3 begin on Summer 2010.
This game have 2 Ultimate Match Event on 2010/09/30 19:00 JST – 2010/10/15 10:00 JST and 2010/12/31 10:00 JST – 2011/01/14 09:00 JST. Anniversary Trial is also held in this year on 2010/12/16 15:00 JST – 2011/01/11 10:00 JST.
There is new Team System Score for Player who are in team which have 2,000 points or more to get 1 card you want + You can get Team Protectors too.
About NPC – All of Original NPC from YO2 was release. Right Now There are 18 Character NPC a lot of Character NPC from YO2 aren’t release yet.
7 NPC From Yu-Gi-OH (Yami Yugi, Seto Kaiba, Jounouchi Katsuya, Kujaku Mai, Keith Howard, Yami Bakura, Yami Marik).
5 NPC From Yu-Gi-OH GX (Yuki Judai, Manjoume Jun, Tenjoin Asuka, Marufuji Sho, Marufuji Ryo).
6 NPC From Yu-Gi-OH 5D’s (Fudo Yusei, Jack Atlas, Izayoi Aki, Rua, Ruka, Crow Hogan).

Cheater in YO3
When I browse a lot of Japanese’s Blog to find V-Jump News I found this post from tamaQ. He talking about Cheater name Valroid.
This is what he cheat.
1. He can summon a lot of monsters in one turn without using any spell/magic/effect monster.
2. He can change flip face down monster to Face-up without any spell/trap/monster effect and make opponent timeout.
3. He can shuffle his hand and opponent hand multiple times (You can shuffle your hand 1 times in yo3 and not opponent hand).

This is not a fake video I already check his Duel Logs and It’s true he’s cheater. You can also check his Duel Log at Server Duel Logs by typing “Valroid”.
I also found that he can force opponent to disconnect. If you find someone that cheat the game you can report it to konami to make this game a fair game.
5D’s Decade Duels for X-Box 360
It’s Yu-Gi-Oh Online game for X-Box 360 but it have Tag Duel mode (Yo3 didn’t have it) and Download Price is 800 Microsoft Points (In the United States, 80 points are equal to US$1).
I want to compare it with YO3 but I still have a lot of question and Official Site didn’t answer them. I will compare it when I got more information.
The only thing I know is It didn’t have Animation when you synchro summon Ace Monster from 5D’s anime maybe none for all of them and it seem to use BGM from Tag Force 4 Game.
As for how to optain cards You can’t buy cards (right now) and There is no trading option for this game. You just get random cards at the end of each duel based on points (Every time you win you get 5-10 random cards, and you get 1 to 3 cards if you lose) and it use outdate Ban List.

Here a review. When I heard about this game I expect better graphic and sound because It’s the first Yu-Gi-OH Game for Next Generation Console. Yes I expect 3d CG animation but graphic is the same as Tag Force game with no 3d CG and using a same BGM from Tag Force 4.
I’m disappoint and not to mention cards you can get is random, You can’t trade it + You can’t buy Booster Pack (right now) and it use outdate banlist.
Good thing is you can get free cards by dueling and You can Tag Duel in this game. We need to wait for DLC (Download Contents) to see If it will be better or not and How much it charge?.
DLC will coming soon because Konami already announced it on their Face Book. Here “Yu-Gi-Oh! fans, the wait is finally over! Turn on your TV, fire up your 360 and get Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Decade Duels now on XBOX Live. And, in just 4 weeks you can grab 10 DLC card packs to amp up your decks.”
Right now YO3 is so much better than this game except for the price.
These days we have a lot of option to play Yu-Gi-Oh with Duelist from around the world (Yu-Gi-Oh Online 3 Duel Acceleratior for PC, Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship Game for NDS, Decade Duels for X-Box 360 and the next one is Duel Transer for Wii). We may loss some player from this game and I can’t stop thinking that YO3 maybe the worst choice to Play Yu-Gi-Oh Online because it’s expensive, Hard to find cards, etc…
I will update this post and compare it with YO3 when I got more information.
