NPC is a new system, Konami promote it since YU-GI-OH Online Duel Evolution release (around December-January) after a long waiting it’s release on 7 September 2007.NPC = Non Player Characters It’s a system that let you duel with CPU Opponent other than dueling with other people.

NPC Duels will all be single duels with the outcome having no effect on your overall level, score or total Win-Loss record. NPC duels will cost 1dp with 1 card awarded after each duel (You can Open Pack normally,You can’t open Discontinue Pack).

You can seperate NPC and Player by looking on the Flag, NPC flag are below.

* Some NPC’s may refuse a duel if certain conditions are not met! such as Kaiba and Alexis will refuse a duel until you beat gouk and lalala 5 times respectively.

“Friendship Level” describes just how well you get on with NPC’s.

Each individual NPC has their own “Friendship Level”.

“Friendship Level” is shown by the number of starts above an NPC avatar’s head.

Please note that there is a maximum limit to “Friendship Level”.Once this is reached, the level will no longer increase no matter how many further duels you play.

NPC’s will reward you at higher friendship levels with items such as cards, avatar parts as well as deck recipes.

* If you are given a “Deck Recipe”, please note that you will not get the cards that make it up.

A “Deck Recipe” Yoy got from NPC is a “Structured Deck” entry that tells you what cards are needed to build a certain themed deck.

When you are given a “Deck Recipe” you will not automatically get the cards that make it up.

If you don’t have the cards that are needed to recreate the deck, they will be listed under “Cards Missing”. Some recipes may also included certain cards that may be forbidden or restricted by the rules, so it is up to you to adapt the recipe to suit.

This patch seems to primarily add more content for upcoming npcs and shops.

In particular three cards have been added

Kaibaman in particular is a card made for Seto Kaiba and his Blue-eyes white dragons.

-Further npc quotes have been added for in-duel commentary, demonstrating that Konami will have a wide range of decks for its bots.
-Extra images of playing character with the white uniforms animations have been added, so using them walking around is now possible. Im guessing these will be available from the shops, probably along with the cyclone black disk judging from the shop buy buttons.
These animations are referred to in the code as ‘chibi’; which I think means ’small’ or ‘child’ in japanese. (Just another example of untranslated language, like in your profile directory there is a file called ‘kaban’, or ’suitcase’ in japanese - it defines what decks you have out)

-Lastly the script for shops has been better defined, confirming that the currency will be mp. In places in the code MP=mileage points; maybe there will be new ways to earn it ?

This update only contained a few icons for the shop and more clothing variations have been added, this time a female casual tartan skirt. These are not available in game yet, but you still have to download them.

These are probably more option that will be available in the shop when it opens.

This now extends the variations of fashion wardrobes to:

Academy dorm uniforms: red, yellow (male only), blue (male only)
Academy dorm white variation uniform: red (male only), yellow, blue
Academy tracksuit uniforms: blue, red(male only), yellow (male only), green (male only)
Domino normal clothes male only, t-shirt variations: white, red, yellow, black, striped
Domino normal clothes female only: pink dress
Domino casual clothes female only (shown above): red, yellow, blue
Domino black suit and tie, blue shirt
NDS champions cloaks

There are also ‘underwear’ variations, but considering the game style I wouldn’t consider it a valid fashion choice !

Spirit of Sword : Those uniform above was add for a while not in 23 August update They add it since July 2007, Konami always doing future stuff maybe they don’t want player to download huge patch from them they update little by little.
