Part 1 How To Download/Install The Game and Register User ID
This is The Beginner’s Guide for new player who don’t know how to start. When you interested in Yu-Gi-OH! Online but don’t know how to start this guide will help you.
If you really want to play Yu-Gi-OH! Online you must download it but before download it you must check your System Requirement to see if you can run Yu-Gi-OH! Online on your PC.

After you know that your PC can run it you need to download it but before downloading I would like you to know Yu-Gi-OH Online Main Site (Official Site).
Official Site for Yu-Gi-Oh Online game is http://www.yugioh-online.net/ and there are a lot of Main Site divide by country click the country where you live it will take you to Yu-Gi-OH Online Official Site in your language.
If there is no country for where you live just go to http://www.yugioh-online.net/v3/?country=US. It’s US Mainsite for Yu-Gi-Oh Online.
***Note – A different between each country main site is update, time zone and language (Japan Mainsite is the fastest one when it’s comes to update).
After you know Yu-Gi-OH! Online Official Site the next thing you need to do is Download and Install the game You can download it at http://www.yugioh-online.net/v3/downloads/start click on I Agree button to download it.
***Note : If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7 you may need to download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package before (You can install it by right click and click run as Administrator).
After finish downloading install it (You may need to right click on the download file and click run as Administrator If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7).
You can’t play the game yet you need to register your User ID at http://www.yugioh-online.net/v3/regists/index. Click I agree and type your information (If you want to buy Duelpass/Boosterpass or Duelpass 150 from the official site you may need to choose the same country you have for Paypal/Credit Card).
Please type a correct E-Mail and Remember Question and Answer You will need it If you forgot password (When you forgot your password you can get it back at http://www.yugioh-online.net/v3/logins/reminder or by contacting Konami support using your Inquiry ID).
After you click entry You will need to confirm it After confirm it you are finish registerd your user ID and they will give you an Inquiry ID. Please Keep it safe, Inquiry ID is the unique number for contact Konami Support When you have a problem with your account (When you got banned or When you lost User Name or Password).
Here an important of Inquiry ID : The Inquiry ID is essential when contacting the Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE Customer Support. Please make sure to write it down.
Inquiry IDs cannot be reissued. Please note that support services might be unavailable without an Inquiry ID. Please do not allow others to use your Inquiry ID.
***Note : User ID’s for accounts not logged in for 180 days or more will be deleted.

After Finish Registration you can login to the game now using User Id and password you got but before Log in to the game you can customize Screen Resolution, Language and Sound at Options.
There are 7 Language for you to choose and 3 Screen Resolution. A Different between each language is Game Text/Description and NPC name will change to your chosen language but Cards Image are the same (Using TCG Image).
After customization Screen/Sound and Language you can now login to the game by Click Online (You can’t play this game offline) Type your User ID and Password after that you must creating a Player Name (It can be any name with at least 3 character).
1 User ID can have 3 Player inside but you can’t login and play a diffrent Player from the same user Id at the same time.
If you got Boosterpass points you will get it for the User ID (If you have 2 or more player in that user ID, All Player in the same user ID can use it).
EX = I have 3 Player and I enter Boosterpass code for 1 Player and receive 30 Boosterpass Points, If you log in with a different player inside your user ID you will see 30 Boosterpass Points If one of player use them all other player in that user ID can’t use it.

There are a text about Gunslinger, Duelist Trial, Evolution Match, Ultimate Match, Anniversary Trial and YOC but I can’t find any different from Yu-Gi-On Online 2 events.
About User create event it’s not available yet but it seem like there is some connection with Regulation. I think they will let user hold an event and let other people join, Player who agreed to join must accept and use the same Regulation from player who hold an event.
EX = I hold an event and let people join I set a regulation not allowed Monarch in your deck/side deck. People who join my event can’t use a cards I set on Regulation List.
Duel Accelerator Now Official Launch
You can download a patch (164 MB) by open Yu-Gi-OH Online 3 Beta Test and Main Site change it lay out you can check it at http://www.yugioh-online.net/v3/?country=US. Check a New Ban/Restrict List at http://www.yugioh-online.net/v3/pages/fobi .
What about korea site that said it will release on 2010/3/8? Don’t believe it they make a mistake or it delay only at Korea Main Site.

Yu-Gi-Oh Online 3 Duel Accelerator Full Version release date change to 2010/3/8.
This is really bad they announce it on The Main Site and V-Jump it will release on 2010/3/5 but now change to 2010/3/8 maybe they face a problem or can’t fix a bug in time.
Where it’s from? Yu-Gi-Oh Online Korea Site (Japanese and English Main Sites still using the old date), Thanks to mixa I know from him on Chat Box.
