Update from Konami 11 January 2008

A bit of advice, make sure you manually restart after the update; for me there were two updates, first a 20 meg one, followed by a 9 meg one. I’ve played previously when an update didn’t complete with weird text results.

Two new clothing additions, not sure of what they are called yet Not Available yet, It’s Johan and Johnouchi’s Cloth, Maybe in the future NPC will award you their cloth.

The logo on the blue and white t-shirt is some short of reference to the “Konami Code” or like a lot of people knows it as the “Contra Code”. The Konami code is Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A and Start. (Thanks to Kaido for pointing this out).

There is also a New Avatar Pieces (Scapegoat’s Avatar), which seems to be referred to in the code as ‘Afro LV 4′ (Personally I think it looks like a sheep creature, brain hugger) Look like’s all of this are Hat/Avatar’s Part on character head.

Something interesting, This Avatar’s Part look like It’s Rare Hunter avatar’s or maybe It’s NDS Qualifier’s Robe for NDS World Championship 2008 Qualifiers or new npc.

New chibi (the pictures used when you are running around) have been added to support the above clothes, as well as extra ones – possibly

There doesn’t seem to be any new cards added, although there is a new reptile/dinosaur recipe – possibly for a tackleberry npc, or a structure deck. I’ll list the cards in additional comments.

About this Ban/Restrict Monarch deck die without thinking all Monarch except Grandmarg and Thestalos limited to 1, Giant Trunade, Wave Motion Cannon and Des Koala become 2, Demise and Dozer still 1 same like previous Ban List, Last Will and Ring of Destruction never come back.

YU-GI-OH Online 2008

Happy New Year! Today year 2007 had pass, A lot of thing happen when YU-GI-OH Online upgrade to YU-GI-OH Online Duel Evolution since 11 January 2007

About YU-GI-OH Online In year 2007 Konami already recover Old System from YU-GI-Oh Online 1 such as Friend List/Ignore List, Chat, D-Mail, Duel Log, DT/GS/CS Event all the thing got upgrade from YU-GI-OH Online 1 except for CS (I see it have a lot of problem than Championship on YU-GI-OH Online 1) 1 New System introduced it’s NPC or CPU Duel, Mileage System upgrade to Card Shop and it’s very good now player have more chance to get cards from Discontinued Pack and In The Shop you can buy more things too, Most interesting in year 2007 would be 2nd Anniversary Trial 50 Event that let player have a chance to get nearly complete GS/DT Cards from YU-GI-Oh Online 1.

Year 2007 YU-GI-Oh Online Booster Pack go up to Tactical Evolution but it’s still missing a lot of Promo.

Now talking about 2008 there are a lot of thing that not release in year 2007, Let’s hope in this year we will see it all.

NPC : Konami will release more NPC for sure, NPC Johnouchi Katsuya and Johan Anderson still unavailable
